This page explains, in plain language, what the Screenzor Chrome extension can access and why.
The current Screenzor extension is a toolbar launcher. It opens screenzor.com in a new tab. It does not inject scripts into other websites, and it does not capture your screen from inside Chrome.
Permissions We Request
The live chrome-extension/manifest.json does not request host
permissions, activeTab, storage, or desktop/tab capture.

Recording, microphone, camera, and screen sharing still happen in the Screenzor web app (or desktop app) after a page opens. Those prompts come from the browser or operating system on screenzor.com, not from extra extension permissions.
What We Don't Do
- We do not log your keystrokes.
- We do not read the content of other tabs.
- We do not inject recording controls into third-party sites.
- We do not sell your browsing activity to advertisers.
What Happens to a Recording
If you record without uploading, the file stays on your device and Screenzor's servers never see it. If you choose to upload a recording (for example, to generate a shareable link or use a team workspace), it is transmitted to our servers as described in our Privacy Policy.
